SSD drives allow older PCs run Windows 7 well

The Windows experience ratings on the machine were in the 1-2 range because of their slow processors, but scored an impressive 6.8 on the drive. These drives are cost effective as well, running just $99 for 16GB and $159 for 32 GB.
That doesn't sound like much, but windows will easily fit into a 16 GB drive, and have room for plenty of applications. 32GB will just give that much more room to grow.
I think that RunCore has the right idea though, concentrating on lower capacity drives at a much lower price making them available to the average Joe like you and me. And when you can stick one of these puppies in your aging laptop and have it run Microsoft's latest and greatest, who can argue with that?
